BIG NEWS!!!!

I almost forgot, for those of you who don't know, Finn is going to be a big brother!! Even bigger news is that he is going to have a little SISTER!! That's right, our next little one, or I mean our little girl, is due on May 5th!! We are so excited and can't wait to meet her!! Now we just have to agree on a name! :)

Finn's First Birthday Party!!

Wow, it sure has been a really long time since my last post, sorry about that everyone!! There is so much that has been happening that I really don't even know where to begin!! I guess we'll start with Finn's first birthday! Below are just a couple pictures from his party. We really didn't take too many pictures because we were relying more on getting them from family members, so again I apologize that there aren't more. We had a great time at his party and I think he did too! I was surprised however, that he didn't devour his birthday cake! He kind of poked at it for a while and then when he finally took a bite, he gagged! What kid does that?!?! Oh well, maybe next year. Anyway, we had a great time with family and friends that day, thank you all for coming!!

Pumpkin Patch!!

Fall is by far my favorite time of the year and today was a perfect fall day!! What better thing to do on a perfect fall day than to visit a pumpkin patch!! Here are a few pictures from our day!

This was when we first got there. Even though it was only a 5 minute drive, Finn fell asleep on the way so in this picture, he is still a little out of it! He is sitting on a big straw pyramid that the kids can climb on. He just sort of sat and watched! :)

Now we are getting into the pumpkins! What more appropriate than a pumpkin picture! Lookin good Finn!

After taking a little hay ride to the pumpkins, we got to walk around and pick which ones we wanted to take home! I think you found a good one Finn!

Random Summer pics!

I have quite a few pictures I want to post today so I am not going to blog to much. Things have been really great this summer and here are a few random pictures from the past few weeks!

This is a beautiful bouquet that Zach put together!

A few weeks ago we took Finn to Conner Prairie. They were having an old tractor show!! We had lots of fun and even got to walk around an old 1800's settlement!

Of course, we had to find the John Deere's first!! Sorry International fans.

A while back I bought Finn this tunnel and he loves playing in it!

This actually should go above the last picture. This was when he was first checking it out before he went inside.

We also got Finn his first tent! He likes playing in this as well!

Where there is water, there is a Finn!! This was one of Finn's favorite hobbies this summer, playing in his wagon full of water!

These pictures just crack me up! This was one night I was out to dinner with some friends and Dad was in charge. I honestly didn't know this happened until I was going through the camera today for pictures to post. Looks like an interesting night! :)

He sure is having fun with all that toilet paper!

10 MONTHS OLD!

As of last week, Finn is 10 months old and really on the move!! Anyone know how to say slow down in baby talk? As mentioned in previous blogs, he loves to be down on the ground and moving everywhere!! Over the past few weeks he has been getting braver and braver with the whole walking concept and today he was doing really well!! I think within the next week or two he'll be walking all over the place!

Below are some pictures from a few weeks ago. We enjoyed a wonderful day at the lake and were able to take Finn and Keegan on their first tubing experience!

This is a random picture but it's one of my favorites! It catches his mischievous personality pretty well! He kept turning this upside down and sitting under it! I grabbed a blanket and made it into a make shift tent and he loved it! Maybe I should get him one of those mini tents!! :)

As mentioned, Finn is starting to walk. We took this video yesterday and if you can imagine, he is already ten times better at walking today! He gets braver every time and he has the bruised cheek to prove it! It was really funny when he first started taking steps because he would take two and then stop and clap for himself!

Fun filled day at the Children's Museum!

Finn's first trip to the Children's Museum!! We had so much fun seeing all the cool exhibits and hanging out with Wes and Ethan! We were so glad to spend the day with them! Here are some pictures of our day!!

On the third floor they have a whole kiddie-scape! All kinds of things for the kids to get into and play with! Of course, Zach and Finn found a pretend garden and were busy planting potatoes and carrots!

Finn also found some water at the kiddie-scape! Imagine that! :)

One of the main exhibits they have right now is about dinosaurs! Finn stumbled into a nest and loved it!

This video does not have anything to do with our museum visit; although it is later that day. This is just a snap shot of a typical day for Finn. The boy does not get tired! This was even after we spent the day at the museum! He just goes from one thing to the next!! This video only captures about a minute and a half but he really just makes rounds all day long!!
